TASER cartridges also have a unique serial number and are equipped with an Anti-Felon Identification system, which discharges 20-30 serialized paper tags when deployed.  Law enforcement can later retrieve this confetti from the scene and contact TASER International to get the name of the owner of the TASER device, allowing police to track any potential misuse. If used in self-defense, the TASER can be deployed and left behind attached to the attacker causing incapacitation while the victim has the opportunity to reach safety.  When deployed, it delivers a 30 second energy burst to the attacker thus keeping him/her incapacitated while the victim escapes.  It is important to note that if a copy of the police report is sent documenting the incident, we will replace your unit free of charge.  If you send us a copy of the report, it means that the TASER obviously did it’s job.  We will be happy you survived and will happily provide you with a new one.

TASER International, Inc. has implemented the following policy.  The TASER will only function after the owner completes a background check through the manufacturer to prevent misuse.  There is a $9.95 activation fee.  You will be provided with a  phone number or web address for activation.  This process takes only about 5 minutes to complete.  Purchasers must be 18 years old or older.
